New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys Spread Sunday Night Football Game 2011: The chase for the NFC East title has become a two-horse race between the (6-6) New York Giants [+4.5] and the favorite (7-5) Dallas Cowboys [-4.5]. Currently a game out of first place, this would seem like a great opportunity for Tom Coughlin to extend his job and put the pressure on Jason Garrett and the fragile Cowboys.
Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX, will be the site for tonight’s edition of Sunday Night Football. This will be a game with huge implications in the division standings, as we have just four weeks remaining on the regular season schedule. As it stands, Dallas leads the division, and the G-Men find themselves on the outside looking in.

The BBCs annual showcase of sporting achievement is almost upon us and whilst bookmakers Paddy Power have given definitive odds for all of the contenders the biggest story so far in the press has been why there are no female names amongst the chosen few. Cyclist Mark Cavendish is a clear 8/15 favourite, with golfer Darren Clarke in second place but it seems that any success they may achieve will be tarnished without the presence of Rebecca Adlington, Jessica Ennis or Sarah Stevensonin the line up.
A pre Olympic sporting year is always going to be rather an anti climax in the sporting world, whilst many athletes will be seeking to build their training regime , all will hope that they will not reach their peak until July 2012.

The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants have a score to settle in the NFC East and will meet twice before the end of the regular season next month. This Sunday marks the first of those two appearances and the hometown Cowboys will look to protect their current one-game lead.
Though their records are similar, where exactly each club sits on the NFL futures board varies considerably. The Cowboys lead the division with 20/1 odds of winning the Super Bowl, the Giants sit at just 50/1 on that same list.
Will Tony Romo be able to justify the lofty expectation fans have of the club?

Away defeat for Nottingham Forest, who has lost against Brighton, with a score of 1-0. It was a match with suspense with the two rivals to enter the pitch aiming not to accept any goal. However, Brighton managed to reach the victory, with a late goal from Buckley, in the second minute of injury time. Forest is in a bad situation at the moment, coming from three consecutive defeats and four in the last five matches they have given. Much of the problem is the goal, since in none of these defeats have scored, while three consecutive games without a goal. Defender Joel Lynch and striker Ishmael Miller will miss the game due to injuries, while midfielder Andy Reid returns from punishment.
