I’ve been talking up Thomas Aiken on the blog and Twitter all week for the SA Open. The Serengeti course sets up perfectly for him with it’s length and extremely wide fairways and he’s now in prime position to strike after a good round 1 in the tougher conditions. Out early on day 2 and currently lurks 3 shots back on -4. If weather conditions are similar to today, with the early starters playing in gentle winds, we could see Aiken go low, both in terms of score and odds. A moderate round and we should be able to get out for no liability. Trade of the week: Place 2 units on Thomas Aiken 20.0. Trade after round 2, if possible. New To Trading? Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos (5-5) can really do some damage to the San Diego Chargers’ playoff hopes in this AFC West NFL picks week 12 matchup at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday at 4:05pm ET on CBS. The Broncos have gone 4-1 with Tebow at the helm after a horrendous 1-4 start with Kyle Orton, who was waived this week and consequentially picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs, who have quarterback issues of their own. San Diego (4-6) has lost five games in a row after their 4-1 start and the blame can go squarely on the throwing shoulder of Phillip Rivers. Rivers leads the league in interceptions and has already surpassed his total from last year.

The Philadelphia Flyers and Tampa Bay Lightning are right where they should be in their respective divisions. The Flyers is second to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Atlantic Division, and the Lightning is second to the Washington Capitals in the Southeast Division. Considering the slow starts both the Flyers and Lightning had to the 2011-2012 season, they should both be happy to be where they are. But the Flyers have larger aspirations than second place in the Atlantic Division.Philadelphiawent out and got goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov and took a chance on veteran Jaromir Jagr to make a run at a Stanley Cup this season.
